Drive to Newport RI, hand over 12 crisp dollar bills, and this is what you’ll find!
This is my real car! This is my toy car! CAR SHOW! (That’s my Autoart 1:18 Aventador that I brought to the museum with me!)
And here’s my favorite shot of the day! Schumacher’s 1997 Ferrari F310B!

Is it bad that I live 10 miles from Newport and had no idea that place existed? It is, isn't it? It's pretty bad.

Is it just the lighting or are Schumi’s tires a bit dry-rotted? You’d think with that kind of metal on display they’d pitch in for some rubber conditioner to keep it nice.

I’m going to Provdience in a month or two, if I have time I’ll check it out. Looks awesome! How far is it from Providence though?
Also that 1:18 Aventador looks tiny compared to the real thing. Even knowing it was a 1:18 I couldn't believe how small it looked.

You daily drive a dragon. Can't it just fly into a jet stream and cut the travel time in half?

Wish this had been around when I lived in Newport/Portsmouth, ca. 1997-99.

45 minute drive from Providence. If you can spare the time, it’s worth it. Especially if you have a fun car to cruise past the ocean and mansions along Ocean Drive.

Looks like I know what I’m doing one of these upcoming weekends. Is it a rotating collection, or are they pretty fixed?

It’s rotating. This “Supercar Evolution” exhibit goes through June 21st. The collection I saw doesn't quite match the list they have on their website, so I suspect they are rotating cars in/out throughout the duration of the exhibit.
